nearly white w.c. baby jacksons...

Buggzter May 05, 2007 03:52 PM

At a GOOD reptile pet store in town, there is a 2" long baby jacksons cham. I THINK it's a girl, but she's nearly white (grey is the real color), with yellow markings (when slightly agitated, she got yellowish stripes up and down her sides)... Is this at all normal? Is this maybe a bad sign? Or is this an exceptional find? Everything else seems fine with her... She is a beauty, tho she is for sure a wc baby... Any ideas? Thanks!

Did she look like any of these?

She looks much like the second one, sitting on the hand from Hawaii... other than the mini horns, at least! About the same size, too - how old would you estimate such a one to be? Also, how would you tell if such a small one is healthy? My fiance would LOVE to get her, but I don't want to take in too many animals (we now have 12 lizards between 7 cages, eventually 16 if we don't branch into other species which is inevitable...). I'd like to see her grow up, but if she's not healthy I don't want that hassle - I'd rather an experienced cham owner do so... Thanks!
