This is my son Michael with a large Loma male.. Even after warning him he will get bit someday, he seems to have no fear of snakes.
Although, his favorite snake right now is my male albino nelsoni?? I guess i have some work to do!

Holy Cow Mike!! What do you feed your alternas? Rabbits? Iguanas?
Thats a monster. They never get that large [in girth anyway] in the wild. Do you give them supplements from Barry Bonds' trainer? Good grief thats bigger than my subocs. Would luv to have some babies from that guy. Nice going. Brad A

Yea, he sure is a big one. He is currently about 53" and he is without a doubt my favorite snake..
I remember reading somwhere that the record for alterna was 55" but, i am not 100% sure about where i saw that?
Does anyone know the record length for alterna?
