Feeding question (caution contains pics)

pasnakeman May 06, 2007 12:55 PM

OK before you scroll down beware I included pics for the question.......

I wanna know if this rat is too small for the snake I am feeding him to...I know its hard to tell with a simple look. I don't have a scale to get weights.

I was thinking this was a good size, he will only take one but eats one every 5 days

Looks fine to me too. I like your snake's markings

thanks, I love normals....

sometimes I think normals look better then most of the morphs with some exceptions... I think its the mojaves (spelling?) that I do like alot though...and albinos

I'm just getting back into reptiles, but I kind of agree. I like normals more than most of the morphs. I also like mojave's and some of the others but to me, some normals are as beautiful as anything out there. I do understand why morphs are bred and why they command higher prices though. I'm just not really into the albinos or patternless looks.

And I think the rat size looks fine.

Good for you will save a ton of money, I happen to like normals like you , thats why I have 0.7 normals , but I also like the morphs to but would I pay thousands for one snake at this time in my life no , I rather buy the hets at a very reduced price and create my own this is more fullfilling to me as a hobbyist and its alot cheaper on my wallet .
