What kind of boas it this.............

I was told that is was a red tail boa. He is very interesting. He looks hazy I guess you would call it all the time. Very neat little guy. Here are a few photos that do him no justice.

...a beautiful Boa c. Imperator thats what kind,more than likely one of the Insular morph's as was pointed out earlier...
...and actually Boa C. Constrictor is the Common Boa and Boa C. Imperator is the Emperor's Boa...there is no actual "Redtail" it's just a nickname...

You can never pin down locale based on looks. EVER. Because locale is defined based on the collection data of the animal or its bloodline.

However, that boa has a LOT of traits found in Honduran boas.

One thing is certain, it is B.c.imperator. B.c.constrictor is the subspecies "Red-tails" are found in. Red-tail boa is another name for BCC and common boa is another name for BCI.

Without a doubt its showing Honduran,a belly shot would be most likely very conclusive.I dont see anything that wouldnt be CA.
