I Have a 647gr male and 4 females that that range in size from 1300gr to 1900gr. Will it be a bad idea to put my male in with these females at the same time? Should I reduce the ratio to 1:2?

I used to gang cage balls......a big male and 3 to 5 females at a time........he was with them most of the winter off and one to feed and switch girls and all......they were all normal so it didn't much matter.......male can breed one female at a time.......the other girls don't get jealous......so yes....he will be fine....if he breeds he will have fun.....if he isn't breeding ....he will just be hanging out with others balls.....
.......girls don't all breed at the same time.....or lay the same month........
good luck

"snakes are kind of like potato chips, you cant have just one"
I know the Richard Ross book, the "Bible" of breeding boids said it was productive to "group" breed Balls, I never had good luck doing it! I always had better luck introducing females into the male's cage individually! As far as them injuring him, no, they won't harm him!
