Hi Jim,

I had a female albino affinis (died last year aged 15)that consisently produced twins.I think over several clutches no less than 4 contained twins.
In fact one season i hatched 3 sets of twins from a clutch of approx 16 eggs, this clutch also contained a fourth set of twins that were dead(fully formed)in egg!.
My friend from another part of the U.K often used to joke with me about my "magic vermiculite" each year i produced twins.
Incidently i only ever had one set of twins that looked identical and the higher percentage were twin males.

I got it out of Northern Pinesnakes. I missed the clutch hatching, so I didn't find out about it until I was counting babies as I cupped them up. LOL. The babies were about 35% smaller than their siblings, but the one male I kept up with turned out normal sized, etc. I don't remember if the other one was male or female.
