please help I got 10 hatchling ball pythons shipped to me from Africa and they wont eat anything.

Thread From Hell

Shipping disaster UPS forgot to put package on the plane – snakes sat over the weekend – arrived safely – spun into debate about whether or not UPS accepts snakes for shipment.

Update – after calling several UPS shipping centers this week (country wide) we were told 6 out of 10 times that they would not ship snakes – the 4 times I was told that they would ship a snake – I asked the person specifically about the written policy prohibiting the shipment of snakes and was told each time “well no one will look in your box”. We called three times to set up a live animal shipping account (for a commercial business) and was twice informed there was no such account available for the shipment of snakes – I did have one guy tell me he could set me up for shipping other my other reptiles geckos, chams, frogs, etc. and I could go ahead and ship the snakes because “no one would look in your box”. Apparently UPS’s policy is a “what we don’t know wont hurt us” policy. Further there are a couple of online petitions to UPS to allow the shipment of snakes – so apparently the 3 thousand other people on those lists were also not able to get a snake shipping account. If anyone has one of these coveted accounts please contact me I would like to use your information to work with an account rep to establish the protocol for setting up these accounts and share the procedure with the community.

What happened with the CH with the tweaked back end? I remember the post before when it was shown im curious if he is still with us and/or if hes still tweaked. Lol i dont think its called tweaked but it works...

Well - I took him to my vet and his insides look good but he does have some sever spinal kinking. The vet pretty much left it up to me to decide if I wanted to put him down or not - he's got pretty good motion and gets around well despite the kinks - and if he can eat and poop without problems then I might keep him - but right now we are in wait and see mode - if I do decided to keep him we will likely amputate his tail to make it easier for him to move about. We'll see.

tweakin is something else.........tail is kinked...they are born kinked and they will die kinked unless you either have them operated on or just break it yourself(please don't) and try to reset it straight.....or cut it off..(really please don't)....
