screen enclosures - and one other stick Q - bamboo

iso Aug 14, 2003 07:43 PM

anybody here have a suggestion for me?

My jackson climbs on the alum mush on the tank. It is one of those all alum ones on ebay and many sites out there...3x2x2

Do you think that the mesh size will be an issue? Should I do anything about it? what are your experiences?

I have a bunch of bamboo sticks. perfect circum ( a few different sizes... for the little guy. Was wondering if that was ok for him. Was thinking of using it and creating a walkway of bamboo paths and making it a solid one peice unit with some cutting and such. and also using it to grow vines up as well as hang a few potted plants from

thanks all

Adam-

I have similar cages indoors (during winter) for all my pardalis. If you don't already have it, I would suggest getting some bio-vine and criss cross it over the top of the cage above the plants. My chameleons love walking all over them and it keeps them off the screen. Hope this helps!

I actually ordered some from reptile depot two days ago. I got one flex branch. one large bio-vine, two small ones and two medium ones. I figure I could twist them and do something really special. Also got a 6' bendable vine plant from them as well.

I think with my ficus, croton, wandering jew, the hoya and the hibiscus - coupled with a bamboo set up and biovines stretching in between and criss-crossing through the plants - he should feel as close to home as I can get him right now.
