I have an 8 year old male anery who has quit eating. Would not eat in early March--shed shortly after--this is normal...has not eaten since though. Has also shed once more, mid April. Has heated tank, rep light. Has been offered f/t mice weekly since early Mrach. Appears active and helathy, otherwise. Advice.....?

of not eating in the spring. It is classic corn for adult male corns not to eat in the spring, because they are looking for love. How long have you had this snake?

Thanks for the quick reply...He has gone off his feed slightly in the past. His mate died last fall---loneliness may be a good diagnosis. I'm just concerned, it's been about 9 weeks now...other suggestions are welcome.
