I can do OT!

begunwithaletter May 08, 2007 07:25 PM

Continuing with the outdoor theme I started with Ch'Punkin...

Cheezit, fluorescent amel

Cinder, type A anery

Nimbus, ghost

(and she sat still on a tile for me, so here's an indoor-with-flash picture of her)

Toast, butter

Peachie, snow

Gertrude, 13 year old rootbeer corn (emoryi's cross)

Georgie, 10 year old wild type...

and now, changing gears JUST a bit... these are my two Baird's ratsnakes. They start life as 'ugly duckling' grey and black snakes, and as they grow they develop orange, red and gold tones in the skin between their scales (called the 'interstitial skin')

Hops (female)

and Barley (male) he didn't want to sit still, so I just got one picture of him

I absolutely loved the pics of the rat snake and what do you put on their bellies to make them climb that tree and set of bricks, perhaps velcro on their bellies thanks for sharing

might as well be velcro, I should have thought twice before letting that corn work her way into the bricks... it was TOUGH to convince her she wanted to let go!

Nice shots and awesome snakes, guess you are on crap detail more than me, I have 53 snakes, 3 turtles, 3 frogs, and several emperor scorpions, every day is crap detail from someone, but they are worth it.

yeah, and the amount of substrate/litter I go through in a month practically boggles the mind...

Aspen for the colubrids and the rodents, cypress/eco earth mix for the majority of the boids, paper towel for the geckos, hay for the cavies, litter for the cats, and 'yesterday's news' for the ferrets...
