Meet Neosho Kansas Boy

PHEve May 08, 2007 11:44 PM

This spiffy Kansas locale dude is NEOSHO, I have wanted this locale for quite awhile, I really like the colors. He has golden greens/yellows/lime greens, grays, and a brilliant orange dewlap. Thought he would be an awesome addition to my colorful collared family.

Also recieved another beautiful Kansas guy that came along for the ride to live with me, an added surprise. Seems he had a battle injury and my friend Sean from Seans Exotics, wanted a good home for him. I will post a pic of him also.

This awesome dude is CAMARRON, these guys are both named after Kansas rivers Anyway they are sooooooooo very pretty, uniquely colored, I'm surprised some people do not like their colors. In person they are amazing.
Camarron has a nasty wound to his thigh and a injured tail. But thanks to a very kind guy (Sean Kirk) he will be taken care of.

Wow those are two amazing lizards Eve, congratulations on the new additions. I'm sure they'll make some awesome babies for you one day. Lol meanwhile Bugsy is content to protect his little harem of Thelma and Louise.

Rofl, well Eve he has tried a few time but he just ended up getting a free ride around the cage. So now he's content to sleep at the entrance of the cave where Thelma and Louise sleep at night.

I will have to brumate all five of them come October, this will provide to be my first time doing an actual cooldown period.

She's slowed down a little, but eats plenty to remain very chubby! Still wearing her orange stripes, too - how long do they normally stay?

Some of mine keep their orangey stripes/ spothes for a few months, just dulls out now and again. But she is a yearling isn't she? I have some yearlings even males who get the orange banding and keep it thoughout the season, just due to their age, I guess for protection (if they were in the wild)

My Micmac, about a year and some .. (male) has bright orange banding right now, you would think he was a little female.
