....poor amphibians get no credit ever.
Here are two northern gray treefrogs I found in the act. Actually, I was photographing the calling male and the female swam over, nudged him and they started doing it right there! It was really cool.

. I wasn't a boy anymore when he died either (woosie). Now they no longer can be possessed in NJ, even though the Northern Grey Treefrog is quite abundant in NJ the southern subspecies is endangered. Since the State can not tell them apart (neither can I, except when I actually catch them at the extreme parts of their ranges)because they are identical except for their calls and DNA. So they just simply banned them from individual ownership. Loved that damn frog.....
