How Long Did it Take to Fill Your Pond?

Accomplice May 09, 2007 11:25 AM

I'm not 100% sure how much pond I have on my hands but it took about 2 hours of full blast on the garden hose to fill it and it rained pretty steadily the last hour. It is around 15X9X2. I'm guessing around 1,400-1,700 gallons. Anybody else know how many gallons they have and how long it took to fill by hose (I know that flow rates vary but I want to ballpark it). Thanks in advance.

The Water Garden Pond Liner Calculator

There is a site that will calculate your pond gallons for you. I don't know how to get it on here. The name of the site is The Water Garden . Then click on The water garden pond liner calculator. You give your measurements and they will calculate how many gallons you have in your pond. Can you send a picture so we can see it? I have a koi pond that is 990 gal. and a turtle pond that is small right now just for one baby, but I hope to put a larger one in soon.
