About 6 weeks ago I posted a picture of Sienna and asked if anyone could tell my what type of milksnake she is. At the time, there was some question of whether her uneven pattern was from an old injury or not and someone asked me to post close-up pics. Well, I didn't have a camera that would take clear close ups. Now I have a borrowed one, so here are some close-ups. Upon inspection, it does look like some of the mis-colored scales are oddly shaped and some are not.

First is a full-body shot to remind you what she looks like.

Is there a way to include more than one picture in a single posting?

Thanks!

the kingsnake.com photo gallery, there will be a drop down menu at the bottom of the page when you post. You can put up to three pix in each post. Click on the tab that says "Photos" at the top of the page to access the photo gallery and follow the directions for some FREE photo space.

Yes,............just hold down the control(Ctrl) key as as you scroll down and click on the photos you want to post. They will be highlighted in blue.

Also,...I remember your post from a while back, unfortunately your new photos are really not close and vivid enough to tell if indeed they were caused by an injury of some sort(possibly animal bites and claw marks from a cat), but if all the scales are nice and uniformly sized, without being different looking were the dark speckles are, then it is not from a injury, but rather just a strangely speckled Pueblan Milksnake. That is 100% for sure.

My idea of a really good close-up of scales looks something like this one I'm posting,....And it is somewhat difficult to get these good "macro" results, even from a good camera, so don't feel as though you failed, it just takes lots of practice with a good quality camera. So you get an "A" for effort!LOL

Thanks for posting the pics, and now you also know how to add multiple pics as well.

best regards, ~Doug

thats funny cause it actually tried to upload my made up url.LOL...
well just put [img]then place the url that you copy from the properties of the pic and then end it with the same way you started but with a backslash right behind [and before img.
Hope it doesn't confuse you but I really couldn't put it like I wanted cause it would have just put a red x again.
