excellent job on the textures of the scales and shell... and i like how you did the "soft focus" kind of thing with the background to draw even more attention to the tort.

what medium did you use? and do you have any other art?

Thanks for the compliments. It's always fun to combine your passions and share with others with the same interests. The painting is actually pretty large (48" x 36" but it's pretty hard to see it's actual size in a photo. i love the imagination in this one. it reminds me of how, in hindu mythology, the whole world was on the back of four elephants, who were standing on the back of a tortoise...
