It may be 90 outside, but its SNOWING..

Shane Kinney May 09, 2007 11:15 PM

... inside! I had a decent litter here from a anery het snow male X DH snow female.

Here is the mom before breeding, a Frank Martin Orangasm line DH snow:

Of course there had to be a still born deformed snow and the best color/patterned albino het snow was also still born with a huge belly. Its always the white snakes and not the anerys and the normals that are still born or messed up! lol.

Here's the snows and albinos het snows: Scooping up a baby boa still in its amniotic sac and seeing it poke through and take it's first breath is sooo cool, especially when its a snow!

Here's a couple anerys poss het snows and normal het anery poss het albino:

Congrats to everybody's awesome litters so far and keep those pics coming!

congrats on a nice litter , what number did you get and what are the stats on them ?

Shane Kinney May 10, 2007 04:31 PM

Thanks. They were born 122 days after her ovulation, which I find to be a more accurate birth date indicator than the post ovulation shed. I've had a couple females never have a post ovulation shed because of where they fell in their shed cycle, but had good ovulations and babies 120-125 days later.

The final count looks to be:
2 snows, 2 albinos het snow, 11 anerys poss het snow, 3 normal het anery poss het albinos, 1 still born albino het snow, 1 still born snow, and 9 slugs.
