OK...help sexing...

So I thought I knew enough to accurately sex my iguana. I've read Melissa Kaplan site about the characteristic of males and females, and according to her, you should be able to sex the iguana by the time they are 1 year of age. The femoral pores will start to differentiate by this age. And, so, I posted some pictures of my iguana which I thought to be female, 1 1/2 year old, more or less, and everyone is saying that mine is male looking at the pictures. They said they can see the brain bumps start developing, a bit of hemipenal bulge, it looks the jaw is starting to get a bit longer, and the spikes and the nutial crest is pretty long, which all point to it being a male. One of them said at 1 1/2 year old is the femoral might not be differentiate yet until its first breeding season. Is this true? A lady that does rescue said she had iguanas which she thought were females which were over 2 years of age turned out to be males. Is it possbile mine is a male? I thought being a little over 1 1/2 years old is old enough to accurately sex iguanas, providing they are not malnourished and are undersize. What do you think?

Well, I believe there are males who are more feminine looking as
well as females who are more masculine. Has your ig demonstrated
any breeding season tendencies?

Here is a picture of Digit when he was younger. His spikes
aren't huge yet but his jowls are getting there. The other
is the newest picture at 3 years. See how much they can change?

No, mine hasn't demonstrate breeding season rage yet. I thought if she was female she would become gravid by now, but nothing. I guess I'll find out this fall when she/he turns 2.
