They can be so funny

The other day when I bought 3 6-packs of petunias to plant in the pen, I was out there planting them when all of a sudden out of nowhere, Shell E was right in the middle of what I was doing.
She looked at the empty containers, smelled them looked at me, looked at them, looked at me.
I decided she must be asking me where her food is so I came inside got her some food and she ate it.
When she got finished eating I saw Janie on her way over.
Smart-alec turtles. lol

Turtles are the best, lady always is into what I am doing. I just put in the last of three wading ponds in for the easterns. Lady would eat all the worms I dug up. The others are more timid and wait until I get away to come find worms.
I did get 30 strawberry plants with strawberries on them. I went out late to plant them so the kids would find them in the morning, in all 46 green to pinkish strawberries. In the morning at 9:00 one left.

My daughter in college explained it.

New math: fortysix strawberries x eight boxies = little pigs

Hee hee, that sounds about right to me.
That's what I need more strawberry plants. I bought one, planted it to see if I could manage to not kill it. It's doing well so yeah that's what I need to do, go get more.

Our tortoise has always been right in the middle of everything but the turtles weren't. I find it interesting to see how tortoise-like the turtles are becoming.
