OT "Tuesday" pics (taken yesterday) DUW

rainbowsrus May 10, 2007 12:12 PM

This is Casper, Just in yesterday. He's a ghost from a ghost x ghost breeding so is a possible homozygous (super) ghost.

He'll fit well into my ghost projects.

While waiting for him to arrive, I took out several (OK, lots) of Boas for sunny day pics.

Vanilla, a female 2005 probable homozygous ghost.

Tootsie, a female 2005 Anery het albino from Bill Gaines. She didn't want to play nice for pics so this was the only pic I got. That and a nip on my thumb

Pepper, an abby line male from Mike Weitzman. His tail is STUNNING in person. First pic is in full sun, second one is in the shade.

Butterscotch, sister to Pepper.

Reeses, my Summit Salmon 2005 male. This is the most extreme salmon I own. First two pics in full sun, third in the shade.

Heath, one of my 2006 Pastel Motleys from Bill Kirby.

Nestley, my other 2006 Pastel Motley male from Bill

Hershey, my female pastel Motley also from Bill

Toffee, a 2006 Male Anery pos het albino. This guy is really light colored and looks much better in person.

Chester, also newly arrived, a 2006 Sunglow male. Not a coral but still has tons of color in his sides. I do have to keep teaching myself, albino's don't photograph well in sun. The second pic is a from a couple of days ago inside. True colors are between the two.

Coral, she's a 2005 coral albino produced by Mike Weitzman, Stunning coraling on this one.

Ruby, she's also a 2005 coral albino but from Tom Burkes Ruby line

Jasmine, 2005 female albino arabesque from Pete Kahl

(an older indoor pic of Jasmine, the one in John Berry's designer morphs book)

Last one is Stella, she's a 2006 Cherry Salmon from Boas2Balls. I bought 2.2 preshed and they've not disappointed me!!

Phew, lot of working hauling them out, taking pics, processing pics, posting pics to my web site and crafting this post, hope you enjoyed them.

Very cool! I really like the tails on Nestle and Reeses. But I have to say that your new Chester is by far my favorite of your BCIs. That orange is blinding!

Hey Aubrey, thanks!!

Chester is really cool, The actual breeder did contact me and I have a few details that actually are pretty cool. Chester is NOT from Coral stock, he also is NOT homozygous salmon BUT,
a few of the sunglows (including Chester) with very vivid coloration particularly in their sides. As they have grown, the color has improved. Could be something special here. The original coral's came from "normal" stock bred in to albino lines. Lokking forward to seeing how he grows an dhow his babies look!!

Reeses is definately one of my favorite BCI's. While Salmon may not be considered a "high end" morph He is definitely at the extreme high end of the salmom morph. His colors are so intense it's amazing. Here's all my Reeses pics:

Just like any salmon, he goes through color changes depending on many factors including time of day, temp and shed cycles. Sometimes he's insanely amazing, other times he's only gorgeous!

Of course the Motleys (Nestle, Heath and Hershey) are also really cool to look at, they look so different!!

Awesome!! He is amazing! I just love the extreme close up picture of his head with just the forks of his tongue out. Very cool. I hope he does get brighter as he grows..... though he's pretty hard to top now.

Dave you posted on the boa forum first, what's up with that buddy?jk Dumb ? Dave, what is the Abby line like a pastel or something? Pepper has brighter colors on her tail in the shade than most people have in the light and just when I thought Reeses' colors couldn't get any more impressive WRONG!! You should take pics of her exclusively outside cuz they certainly do her justice but can only hope to see that in person. Hershey aaaawwwwhhhh she is HOT and I love that kind of tail on a Motley too Coral you know looks good and what about Chester huh. Not a coral, or not a coral sunglow yet Jasmine takes the cake and I certainly did enjoy those and thanks for sharing.

LOL, it was ON topic over there but I did share here as well!!

The Abby line is from Mike Weitzman over at basically boas. It's a line that can throw abberencies, even extreme striping and seems to have tons of color. Go to the classifieds and search on "basically" There are a few ads showing some of their progeny. P.S. Pepper is a boy I thought you knew my collection better than I did?

BTW, Reeses is also a boy, are you gender challenged?

challenged over color blindness to see your collection any day of the week lol but it must be lack of a potassium or something along those lines or perhaps I've been posting to much to Scott lately and it is just simply starting to rub off on to my keyboard or something. How about you post those names to the animals in the guess who is who post cuz I am still curious or that is a secret and ur not telling huh, gotta hold some secrets in this business lol thanks for the correction btw Reeses' just sounds a little feminine to me but Jiffy sounds cool for a boy but again I just want a snake of that calibur or any other snake in your collection cuz they are quality quality quality but all in do time so I think I might have to get a coral albino first cuz they are drop dead gorgeous and make mine a female if you don't mind tell Coral. I wish I knew your collection as good as you but my application got pulled when you planned on implanting your snakes and putting alarms on the windows and no bathroom breaks for me haha so poop duty is left to you unfortunately but fortunately all the snakes are drop dead gorgeous so then it can't be to bad then huh

OOppss, forgot to post that....here for you and also posted in the original thread

The big one draped across the top is Hook, he's in stealth mode with his "hook" on the far side.

The Hypo top center is Dottie.

Below Dottie is Amber.

Of course, the Anery next to Amber is Tawney.

Above Tawney is one of my blush babies from this year Lon.

And the last one on the right is Scarlett, one of the trio I got from Will Bird
