Living Art....

Guy Scavone II May 10, 2007 03:58 PM

I always wanted that name for my business, but the domain was taken and that's how I've always viewed these animals. Boa constrictors truly are living art and seeing the stuff that is produced every year really blows my mind.

The Sunglow Motley was the "pinnacle" in my mind for what I could do with my original Motley when I bought it from Jeremy in 02'. Now that they're here I couldn't be happier with how these guys have turned out, but I can only think of what's to come for the Motleys and Boas in general.

With more and more people getting into the hobby and new and old breeders alike refining and improving on their breeding strategies more litters become possible. And with more litters come crazier and crazier babies. We're just scratching the surface here and the season is VERY young

Congrats to everyones success this year and I'm looking forward to all the litters that are yet to come.

All the best,

Guy

... the sunglow super motley!

Guy Scavone II May 10, 2007 04:47 PM

I couldn't agree more Shane! Not sure if you've seen the Hypo Super on Jeremy's website, but if that is any indicication..... WOW!

Grats again on those snows. Wish the prices reflected what was under the hood, but for some reason snows have a bad rap? I don't care what ppl say.. I think they're WICKED looking.

Guy,

That is AMAZING. Living art is truly what it is. CONGRATS AGAIN, and thanks for showing pics after the shed. It is only going to get better and better. As Hypo Motleys age, they get more reds, and they are incredible as adults and Sub adults, so that thing is only going to get better. IT will be cool to see the other Sunglow Motley looks. No two are the same.

As with the Snows, I don't get it. They are some of the coolest Boas I think. It is hard to be a baby Snow. Maybe a Sunglow Motley or Super Motley. LOL.

Take Care, and Congrats again. Hope to see you in Daytona.

What accounts for the stripe?
Is that a stripeline albino or is it the mixing of the various genes?

Guy Scavone II May 11, 2007 07:19 PM

The stripeline could have something to do with it I suppose. However, all Motleys seem to come with either a ladder tail or a long striped tail. Either way they still look killer, but I really do prefer that stripe.

There's a discussion above on the striping actually with some good insight.

All the best,

Guy

Thanks, Guy!

That's Awesome!

I've been just maintaining what I had for the last few years.
But with animals like this being produced, I'm seeing Boa expansion in my future.

BoaRepublic May 11, 2007 03:40 PM

Seriosuly Guy, that motley is freaking SICK!!!
GEEZE! Congrats on that dude.
