hey i have got a large male albino and a female hypo tangerine and i put them together for a little bit and the male started rattling his tale like a snake would. any info on this i have been out of the hobby for awhile so i am a little rusty thanks

Hes getting defensive, or check ng to see if will get a defensive respons from a tresspaser, if the other does not respond it is most likly that he has found a female mate.
I second that, whenever I put a male and female together for breeding, the male rattles his tail. If he gets a nonaggressive response from the female, mating normally takes place, or he is at least excepted into her cage. It's similar to us shaking hands, but includes a bit of rattling noise. I've also noticed females acting this way towards each other, but it is less deliberate, the tail shaking not as hard, more of a wiggling motion.
