This girl, at 1250 grams, is by far the largest we've ever seen. We breed our female carpets with weights like that!
Our next largest female is more typical at 700 grams.

Actually she is not ovulating or gravid....she's just big.
She is about 4.5 ft long and I must say she is the longest I have seen personally. The next longest I've seen is one that measured 4'1". But this is also a little tubby (previous owners doing, not mine). She'll be on a bit of a diet to slim her down just a little. Literally for years now, ever since I saw a pic of a guy in AUS holding a giant Cape York, I had been searching for adult Capes that were truly large in size as it has been said this race has the potential to be the largest of all Antaresia. I must admit, it kinda defeats the main "purpose" of why folks get into Antaresia....to have a small python. Not a big small python lol!

She looks great Yasser! We sure had our eyes on her...but at least she went to someone that we know so we can see pics of her from time to time. She sure is a looker. Congrats!!! And I hope she gives you a HUGE pile of eggs next year!!!
