a good boa

is their any boa that 5-7ft in length that is good natured, i heard some rainbow boas are a little on the snappy side or am i wrong? and for reasons i don't understand i would really like it to be a boa.

I think you might have got some bad info, Rainbow boas are great snakes and if held well and kept well they are not aggressive at all, I've owned mine for 6 months now and its never bitten or even looked like it would bit me, not once. They are in the 5-7' length 7' being only obtained by a VERY large Brazilian female. Sometimes they are nippy when they are young but hell, when they are young isn't when it hurts! Hold it every now and then (even if it is nippy) and it'll be fine.

do you know the minimal size requirements for a columbian rainbow boa, if i do get one i going try to give it more than minimal?
