I seen this guy basking on the road while I was out herping today,(which is now yesterday according to my clock).He just laid there for aleast 10 minute as I took photos from just about every angle. Very cool although I was hoping to get some pics of N.pine snakes . Maybe next time ........when I feel up to a 3 hour drive .

Hey man!,.....those are just SUPER!!, was it fairly cool out then?.....as he would be much more sluggish and tollerant of a
"photo session" than if it was hotter,...........even so, I'll bet you did your best to S-L-O-W-L-Y creep up on him for that awesome "macro" shot!LOL

Yo, that is one heck of a snake to find...and by the way, where'd you find him?? soon im gonna go to the pine barrens herping...Wish my luck lookin for Snakes!! get bak to me on this question plz
