I just took possession of a glass topped and fronted showcase. The sides, back and bottom are wood of some sort. The case measures approx. 6'long X 4' tall X 2.5' deep. I have a rainbow boa now and want to add a redtail to my collection. My question is should I divide the showcase lengthwise for 2 halves 3' wide, or should I try to do it in 2 halves top to bottom and have 2 halves 6' long by 2' tall??? I guess my long winded question is will my snakes be better off in 3' X 4' X 2.5' enclosures or in 6' X 2' X 2.5' enclosures????

Thanks for any helf anyone can give me
Sam

A radtail should have a larger cage as an adult, but 3'x2.5' would be fine for the rainbow boa.

Thanks Audri, that is what I was thinking. I will also be posting this on the Boa page.

I would devide it to where it would be 3ft long because both spiecies are partly aboreal.
