I'm new to this site but I've joined now as I thnk this could be pretty useful to talk to other owners!
I kind of inherited my hognose from a frind who moved abroad, and while she's always been the same size (my snake, not my friend..) I think she's a bit skinny compared to photos of other western hognoses I've seen. She's only shed once in about 9 months, although she went off eating for nearly 6 months over the winter.
She's about 14 inches long and only about as thick as a man's thumb (yeah i know that's a weird comparison - i'm stuck for a better analogy!)
Any views on this?
