the KING of kings,,,,,,,,,thomas davis

I gotta admit that I have always liked this beast. Classic chain pattern with narrow white bands. Don't really care much for the yellow banded southern locales.

Other kings have not gotten the attention they deserved on this forum. We are lucky to have people like Kerby being the resident Cal king morph/locale freak and his gracious posts. There is so much more to learn on about cal kings and they WILL be making a comeback.,..Also posts on zonatas and other kings have been real interesting. Then there is NoktunalTom's well thought out posts and even Shannon and FR have made a comeback. Lately this place is more interesting and fun to visit. There is a good group of people posting on here and everyone is contributing in a positive manner. Heck I even enjoyed DMong and Kerby posting on the same thread. LOL!

You know I hear from quite a few people who say they read the forum a lot and love the posts but don't ever write anything. Sometimes I get the feeling I wasting my time writing on here, and I am sure many other do too. I know this isn't the case... There's also a bunch of other people who seem to think other sites that have forums are some sort of cooler group of herpers and that this site is just not as good???? I don't see that at all but besides the fact that this site has been great to herpers for a number of reasons over the years and also the classifieds have done wonders for many of us I just think that kingsnake.com will always be my fave. This forum is also my favorite on here.

I have learned a lot on here and think I have helped some others learn stuff too. I am very pleased with the way the forum is maintaining an interesting group of posters. The drama level has dropped considerably and suddenly there's not so much accusational BS. I hope it stays this way, as the funnest part of the season will be here soon. I look forward to seeing everyones babies and really hope some of the newer folks make to Daytona this year. Tom Stevens

that I've also made some good friends on here too even if some I've never met in person.

Keep posting Tom. You are a great contribution to this forum. I choose not to post so much anymore because........well, most of the regulars know. I try to keep up on here as much as possible. Maybe I'll start contributing again, but you, and a few others are an important asset to this forum. Keep up the great work.

The thing that IMHO needs to change is disapearing posts without any explanation. That bugs me a lot.

Sometimes it is obvious but sometimes it isn't, and the way they do it often results in lost posts that are in the same thread that otherwise would have been OK.

And I dislike the way they remove threads with people asking who breeds what. They see it as a wanted add and think it belongs in classified, but classifieds provides no discussion whatsoever.

Maybe its because I am a little lazy, maybe its because I am still computer dumb, but I like ONE site being able to post about different species as well as the classifieds. While there are STILL those who lurk and follow me up with criticizm every time, the end justify the means still. I think those who have been on here a long time have learned to direct our "venting" to those that can handle it. Thanks all,Jeff

How big?

FunkyRes May 15, 2007 06:42 PM

Especially the So GA that may or may not be genuine locality - the ones with orange that look like they may be goini integrades.

Even if they aren't genuine locality, I still think they are gorgeos.

I'm not as fond of the classic chain king look.

They use to sell them (classic chain king and floridana) for $1.00 an inch at EBV. I think wild caught though.
