i have i large eastern milk snake arond 3 and a half feet but the colors r weird it has a orange checkboard stomach with the black still there but no white on it. has any one ever heard of this?

I have seen a few easternmilks with an orange tinge to them. here is a pic of one

this pic is poor quality and doesn't show the color well. I was going to try a breeding program but it wouldn't eat. wich is usual for the milks around here.

the color is just like that on the bottom of mine

southern York county Pa.....I had a pair from a guy that raped the world ......about 10 years ago......he took 36 from the wild plus 40 plus eggs...commission didn't bust him......

anyways......yes..the one pair was orange instead of white.....rusty orange not red nd the belly was orange not white-ish.......they were wierd and sweet....they got out in my cellar and were never seen again.......

eastern milks are the only snakes I lost in the house and never caught.........3 of them.......

........what state are yours from?.........

.......Pa gets all kinds of colors.....grey and brown , reds and white, usty, faded, oranges.......and I have seen a 4 footer that could eat huge mice.......

.....although I haven't caught an eastern in Pa for 35 years......LOL......
