carmel corn not eating, help please?

crochuntermyhero May 13, 2007 08:26 PM

I'm starting to worry about my carmel corn. he used to eat pinks like they were going out of style many at a time so i tried a fuzzy and he took it just fine only to throw it back up a day later. This was 5 weeks ago and he won't eat anything since then i've tried pinkies both live and frozen, i've tried putting him in a sack with the pinkie overnight, i've tried braining the pinkie. all with absolutley no luck. He's in a rack system that also houses 5 kings and a corn who are all eating just fine so i'm thinking temperature and/or living conditions have no play in this since the others are doing just fine? Any help in the matter is greatly appreciated!! i've enclosed a picture of him thanks in advance!

One suggestion that I have is to take him out of the rack (because of the kingsnake smell) and put him in a different room.

How often are you offering food? What are his temps (both high and low)? Hide boxes? Make sure that your husbandry is perfect. And don't hound him about eating, as that can be counterproductive.

You can download the pix on your computer to the photo gallery on kingsnake.com. Click on the photo link at the top of the page and follow the directions. It is free for a nice number of pix, and then whenever you post, you get a dropdown menu at the bottom of your post and you can select up to three pix to include.
