MOJAVE SPIDER GHOST

MillenniumMorphs May 13, 2007 09:37 PM

Here is our Mojave het ghost sitting on a clutch of 9 eggs from our Spider het ghost male.

Cant wait to see the MOJAVE SPIDER GHOST. I think this will be the first produced.

We are begining to have a great season. The balls looked shakey in the begining, but we are starting to get some nice clutches. I think this will be our best year ever. Alotof new stuff for us and some nice combos.....

We slacked off a bit the last 2 years, due to a petstore we opened up 2.5 years ago. We were losing our shirts and had to dump it. It consumed alot of our time and created more stress than it was worth....

It is now gone and we are able to focus on our reptile business 100% again. This season should put us right back where we need to be. Thanks for having patients with us and dealing with us through the rough times.....Things are back to normal now and we should have a great season....

There were some rumors ofus selling our balls off. That is NOT true. We sold normal adults to make room for all of our morphs...That is all. We should have our best season this year with balls and boas. We will post some more clutches as they come...

Congrats. I wish you all the luck in the world, but be careful not to count your eggs before they hatch. You will have to be extremely lucky to get a spider ghost mojave because of the low odds of hitting the triple combo especially using het ghost on both sides. Honey bees, ghost mojaves, and spider mojaves are great consolation prizes. Good luck and keep us posted.

yea what are teh odds on that? 1 outa 16 right?

Yes, 1/2 (mojave) X 1/2 (spider) X 1/4 (ghost) = 1/16 mojave spider ghost.

In a 9 egg clutch (if all hatch and no retained sperm or fraternal twins) the odds of getting at least one mojave spider ghost is 1 - (15/16)^9 = 44%. That’s a good chance and almost break even odds. Even with 16 eggs it's only up to 64% so no sure thing ever but the more eggs the better the chance.
