Finally, eggs!

metalpest May 14, 2007 01:22 AM

My northern pine finally laid her eggs, 10 in all, 10 days post-shed. She finally settled down in her box. Thanks to all that assisted me with my nesting box questions. Hopefully next year I'll do it right from the start and she will lay sooner.

Glad to hear it! From the looks of it, you might want to stock up on some pinks because it looks like you're going to have quite a few mouths to feed! Those eggs look very healthy! Congrats!

I have fuzzies stocked up, and I will have pinks on the way soon-I have 34 colubrid eggs incubating now with at least 10 more soon!

33! Wow! Which lines do you have? I may be interested in some. I just picked up another adult female, I'm hoping for more eggs from her, if the male is still ok to breed.
