Never heard of them till just a few minutes ago. Seems like an excellent choice. BUT, what are your experiences? As good as it seems or not worth it?

phoenix worms are great feeders, high in calcium etc and soft bodies. they are the larvae of the black soldier fly. I have used them with young bearded dragons with no problems so far.

great feeders for small dragons. not worth it for larger dragons as the worms are small. my youngins love them. they are a larve of a species of fly if i remember correctly

I tried them and all my dragons loved them. The only down side (besides being small)is that there often is a lot of leftover parts which leads me to believe that they don't digest them completely/correctly. Others say they have not had the same experience which I'm surprised about. All my dragons showed the same symptoms and I sent them to another poster here for her dragon and she had the same experience. I've pretty much given up on them.
