I am really worried now because my balls eye cap that didnt shed still didnt come off on the second shed. So now there is even more covering the eye. Whats the best way to get the eye cap off.

Well, I have never had to do this, but I hear this is the easiest method. Take a piece of double sided scotch tape and wrap it around your finger. Then lightly roll your finger over the cap and it should stick to the tape and come off. Hope that helps you out.

I have tried EVERYTHING!!! Mineral oil dabbed on, KY Jelly rubbed on, scotch tape, damp pillow case for a half hour.... nothing works on my snake! I'm not even sure if she can see! (I kind of adopted her and I think retained caps may have already been there!) Lately I am just trying to keep the humidity up in her tank with damp sponges and hope she will shed again soon. (though this could be a problem since I think she has started her winter fast).
