sexing is very difficult and not/never reccommended. Most people just keep an eye out for sperm plugs left by the males on occasion.

I read that online but what on earth is a sperm pluig? How would I know if it is it and not some mucusy part of the excrement or some calcium deposit. Can you provide a pic of what it looks like?

Sperm plugs are a gloppy portion that males use to thwart other males from inseminating that female. With no females, a male will occasionally drop them.

I don't kmow what blue tongue sperm plugs look like but snake sperm plugs are usually an off white stringy thing, usually found in pairs. A google search on sperm plugs, or snake sperm plugs should bring images.
