I woke up April 14th to find my blacktail had laid 18 eggs and 1 slug. Not in her nestbox has planned but next to her water tray.

CONGRATS!
Thanks...
Let me say that it's so nice to have this forum and its wealth of information provided by you experienced keepers.
Last August I hatched out some high white cal kings. Two were on the small side and anorexic. I don't know who first came up with the idea of assisted feeding of mouse/rat tails but that person deserves full credit.
I managed to keep these two animals going through three shed cycles until this week when they voraciously attacked and ate their first live pinkies.
Thanks again!
Jim
WOW!!..well done!!...could you post a photo of your cribo for me ...you may have read I've tracked one down here in England..going to view next week.

Here you go Paul. She's "in the blue" at the moment but here's
a photo from last year taken by Brett, her previous caregiver.
I hope you can pick up the one you found over there.
The last few years of the 70's, I lived in Kensington, Notting Hill, and Regent's Park, whereby I had a sustained diet of beer
and crumpet. Best time of my life!
Jim
