cage size for adult hognose

royalkreationz May 15, 2007 02:07 AM

I love these little guys and have an opportunity to buy part of a collection of a gentleman who is getting out of reptile breeding. I am wanting to build a rack system to hold about 10 animals. I have some surplus tubs that are 22"l x 9.5" w x 3.5"deep (the tubs have pre made holders for 8oz deli cups, soyou must subtract that from the floor space of the tub. Do you think this would be big enough to house adult westerns, and for a short time of the year, a breeding pair for a few hours? The only other surplus tubs I have are the adult ball python size cb70's and I think those would be overkill. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Herping.

I keep my adult westerns in the 28/27 qt steralite with no problems at all.
