pressure treated lumber

im about to build a new outside cage and im looking into pressure treated lumber i would be coating it with a bher outside water based deck stain it has algesize and mildewsize in it. i will let it dry 2 weeks befroe lizard goes in cage. there will not be many points where the lizard will come in contact with the wood but i wont it safe. any other ideas on what to use? i need something that is strong and long lasting anyone with good outside cage let me know what u did. cage will house xl rhino iguana and will 8x10 x6 ft. thanks

A lot of Outdoor Rhino enclosure consist of chain link type constrcution, instead of chainlink or in addition to chain link welded wire is used. Most of the time buried a few feet under ground as well as a layer under the desired substrate thickness, Rhino's can dig very large burrows, to prevent dig outs. The ceiling mearly has tokeep them from climbing out an predators from flying in.

I sugest posting this on the Iguana forum as well as a number of those folks have some pretty cool pics that will be very helpful.
