Thank You !! Looking forward to posting those post-shed pics too!!

That's pretty neat . Is all the red on the sides natural or is it the camera? It's beautiful reguardless.

The color IS there. The picture is fairly representative of the snake's color. Thanks for looking.

Richard_Fisher May 15, 2007 03:39 PM

Not a great picture but it shows a different aspect.

ginebig May 15, 2007 04:05 PM

That's really pretty interesting. I've never seen a circle back ball until now.

Have you proven this out , or was it just a fluke ? Do one os the parents exhibit this trait ? I'm sure we all want to know .
Congrats

I never heard where the guy made any claims to anything. It may be genetic? I am sure he will tell the story when he chooses to share.

Man, take it easy...what, did he try and sell you a bridge we dont know about ?

j3nnay May 15, 2007 09:14 PM

I'm curious too! Cool fluke or the awesome result of an intentional breeding?

In either case, awesome animal!

Take it easy??????????????????? Did you notice...I asked 3 simples questions ...then a compliment..

1.)Did you proves this out ?
2.)Did it's parents look similar ?
3.) Was it a fluke ?

Then Congrats...................YOU should take it easy , there was NO HOSTILITY in anything I ASKED...STOP FISHING for a Flame .
GOOD LUCK TO MY FELLOW BREEDERS

Very cool! I like the orange just as much as the dorsal circles!

Quinton May 15, 2007 09:11 PM

I just want to know if you named him cheerio, or fruit loop?

Tracy Barker May 15, 2007 09:17 PM

Wow, very nice. I'd rather have that than most of the high end morphs out there. Does anybody else have a "circleback"? I'm just wondering, because one of my hatchling imports has the same circles. Mine isn't as nice as that one. Her spots only go about halfway down her back. I'll try to post some pics in the morning. I'm fairly new to the ball hobby. I didn't know if she was rare, but I did know she was my favorite of the ten I got and that I'm going to keep her.

Anybody else have one?

OK. Here's the deal. It is NOT co-dominant - neither parent looks anything like it. The father is an animal that I thought MIGHT be a fire and the results of this breeding encourage me. The mother is normal but does have two "loops" on her back. This baby has three living siblings and two that died in the egg shortly before due date. One of the two that died had four smaller circles on the back and the other "glowed" like a pastel. Here are pictures (sorry for the quality) of the 3 siblings to this guy. You tell me...

revjim_2 May 16, 2007 10:45 AM

I have seen some with circles, but never one with the circles all the way down the back. Very cool. I also like the extreem orange blushing. Definitely something to play with. Good luck! Jim
