Silliness...

Hi everyone!! This may sound a bit silly to you all, but I was looking for some information. Last night, my sister was watching "The Freshman" (the movie with Matthew Broderick and Marlon Brando) and there was a lizard they kept referring to as a Komodo Dragon. It very obviously was not, and I thought it might be a Water Monitor. Could someone tell me what it actually was? I currently have a tegu, a burmese python, a ball python, a pair of Leos, 3 cats, and am now completely captivated by that animal. My hubby has advised me that divorce proceedings will follow the addition of anything else to the menagerie, but he really liked it, too, so I think I might be able to get around that. (Not that I'm going this weekend to pick one up - but information for future endeavors is always good to have.) Can anyone tell me about it or provide pictures? I would really appreciate it!

Brightest Blessings!

Very cool monitors that require a huge amount of space, food and patience! Well worth the effort for the dedicated keeper though, as they seem to have a great amount of potential for really personal interaction.
