It's a gorgeous day here today, so I was inspired to finish Rorschach's outdoor cage. I'm terribly pleased with myself since I'm not overly handy. It's 2.5'L x 2'W x 2'H. Frame is one by, top and bottom are plywood, back is pegboard. The screen on three sides is 1/4" hardware cloth. Everything is sealed with deck sealer.
I checked the UVB transmission with my Solarmeter 6.2 - the 1/4" screen cuts it by about 20 - 25% depending on angle. I chose to go ahead and use it since I had it on hand. I figured it's still natural light and is better than an MVB.
She's mid-shed right now and so is a little cranky. She did a little sunshine freak-out when I first put her in, then she calmed down and sat quietly in the sun for a while.
