Lets give it up to the girls in our lives that go with us!!!!
Let me be the first to give thanks to my wife for hangin in there
She drives on every road crusing adventure and even sees stuff I don't see - she's made a couple of finds without me - recently a 5' gopher snake that she brought5 home in her book bag - Its a an awsome pleasure to have a woman that shares your love of herps!!!!!

I gotta give it up for my wife. She hasn't been along for awhile because she's 7 months pregnant, but she is supportive of my many trips. She once hiked a 3 mile trail with me under 2 and a half feet of water. We went to Hontoon Island to herp, but when we got to the trail, it was flooded. I assumed it was a no go, but when I turned around, she said are we doing this or what? She has waded with me through breeding ponds at night. And even caught a few snakes herself. Here's to you Kristie, your definetly the one for me! 1-2-3! LOL!

Props to my wife Charlotteas well! When I come home late in the evening and see an upside down rubbermaid on the floor, I know she's been "house herpin'"! She has kept more than a few escapees from makin' it all the way over the wall, and has accompanied me to west Texas as well. She is a trooper and I love her much!

While I've yet to get my wife to accompany me into the field, I too gotta give her props as a "house herper" as well, for her uncanny knack of finding escapees (her first find was my SD Gopher who'd escaped and curled up inside the printer of our computer). I even gave her a snake of her own (the little GB Jasonmc & I found last Sept while road cruising) for Christmas. I was nervous @ first, and releieved when she LOVED it! Of course she does the shows w/ us as well.

Kudos to all the wives/girls everyone. (then there are those of us girls who dont need a man to go out in the field with them, but the company is always nice!) hehehe

My wife checked my female snakes for eggs when I was out of town for a week. One of them layed, and she got all of the eggs in a rubbermaid shoe box just fine. She is not a herper.
She also took a large eggbound bullsnake to the vet for me.
