BUY GAS TODAY

Herpo May 15, 2007 08:10 PM

I realize most of you are filthy rich and don't care about minor things such as gas prices, but get ready to bend over. I filled up tonight, as the word is prices will climb at least a dime by this weekend. 5 days ago I paid $2.769 at the Sam's in Abilene. Tofday it was $2.899, I also filled up three of my 6 gallon boat tanks. I doubt the boat will go in the water this year but if I'm going to be herping in the bonies of W. Texas where the prices will be #3.10 or more, I'm willing to suck on a hose to save a few bucks.
I need to get the wheelchair working so I can herp on that.
Happy Herping.

John,
Frankly I can't wait to come hunting to TX this year. I will get a nice break in the price of gas. $2.90 is a deal for me. It's costing us .75 more a gallon in CA.

Ah, but you have those marvellous dekayi in central park. Herp close to home, save money.
Or, you could go to Sagaponic and find eels, pretend they are snakes.

I work in the oil industy and I wish gas was cheaper and things would slow down just a little.I think things are going to get worse than better. We should all buy hybrids and maybe I could get a weekend off.

Unleaded regular is currently $3.09 here in Cody, Wy. Just gassed up the Yukon tonight and got dinged for $76.00. And the most exciting thing I have a chance of finding road cruising up here is a Pituophis and then only in July or August...or the occasional grizzly bear.
