Yearly calcium injection recommended? Even with no MBD? (more)

Is it recommended to give chams (vields) a calcium injection let
s say once or twice a year? Even if their is no bone desease or anything... (injection done by a vet of course)

I wouldn't. Proper vitamin/mineral levels are necessary for them to thrive, when the levels are off--either too little or TOO MUCH, problems arise. Neocal is generally safe, but I wouldn't do that. Get a MV bulb instead and keep them healthy.

No I wouldn't Too much calcium can be just as bad. Also a shot is stressful to the chameleon.
