Anyone know how the hardened yolk in a snake can be broken down to pass using saline?
It's too large to pass on it's own and the only other option would be to have it surgically removed.

Keep in mind however that as far as I know, I was the first to try it, so my trials are not as conclusive as some would like. I do feel that it did help however. I wish it were something I could say "I read this in a book, and it works!" like with so many other common problems with boas. Unfortunately, I cannot. I can only tell you what I did, and wish you the best of luck.

Davey,
I guess I missed something along the way. Would you mind filling me in on what exactly you did?
Thanks,
Chris Kimble
Have you tried a little mineral oil? That should help.
Jeff (the Boaphile)posted a lot of valuable info a couple of posts up.
