Do hatchling normals have blue eyes?

joshuaamills May 16, 2007 12:28 AM

Just a question I have a clutch that just hatched from a WC gravid female it is my first clutch I have ever hatched.
all the hatchlings have so very nice busy patterns 2 of them with some very interesting neck striping but they also have blue eyes!? Is this normal?

They hatch with a very glossy first shed on them unlike normal sheds, it is normally irridecent and can sometimes cast a blue hue, this could be what you are seeing. Pics would help though
Thanks Kim
