My Leo egg

Matt83 May 16, 2007 04:02 AM

I have a Leopard gecko egg that has been incubating since Feb 2nd. How do I tell if the egg is still good?

You need to candle the eggs. you need a tiny flash light i use the smallest mag-lite then turn the lights of and put the light up to the egg you need to do this very quickly or you might cook the eggs. If the egg is bright pink inside and you see veins thats fertile also they will have a little weight to them. If they are yellow inside then they are infertile but sometimes they could be ferile just leave them in the incubator make sure its at proper temps and just wait also look up on the net for candeling eggs and it should show you pctures.
