You know the little holes under the rim of your toilet that shoot water into the bowl when you flush? I just found my juvie kingsnake crawling into one. There is no way for me to reach him unless I smash my toilet to pieces. How do I get him out? I put a dish with some bedding and a hide above the water level, and I de-thawed a fuzzy hoping the smell will draw him out. That is the only idea I can come up with. Is there any sort of smell or chemical snakes hate that will force him out somehow? I really want to catch him before he gets hurt or moves on to a different part of the house.

Wow!......that is a problem!

You might try putting a small plastic coke bottle in there somehow to stay stationary with a very small "live" hopper, in it so it is tilted towards the top under the rim, and situated upright enough so the hopper can't get out, but the snake might go in to investigate and be captured!

Be sure to turn the lights off, and put some foam, or something similar, so the snake can't get past the door!.....or else your chances of EVER finding him would becom extremely slim!!....then check in on him every few hours.

Also, now is the time to make a small thin "hook" out of some thin strong wire, so that if you do see him, but can't quite reach him with your hand/fingers, you might be able to hook him enough to finish pulling him out!

stuff some old shirts,etc tightly down the toilet!!, the LAST thing you want, is for him to "bolt" down in there!!LOL
