eastern breeders

does anyone on this forum breed easterns? I would like to raise some easterns up for future breeding and I really don't have any interest in purchasing any of the wild caught available, so I would like to get some healthy CCB's from someone this summer.

What state do you live in?

Iowa, they are not protected in Iowa because they are not native, I assume that is why you ask.

almost any state you can get a permit to keep captive breed hatchlings. It might get to cold in the winter in Iowa to keep estern box turtles. Were i live it gets down to 0 degress once or twice each winter. The coldest its ever been here is -15 degrees and that did not last long.
