In 92 we picked up my first alterna at 3:30 am a couple of miles south of the s-curves on Juno - a large 39 inch male. My son and I took it out of its bag to look at it every once in awhile during the rest of our week in West Texas. While on our return trip to the El Paso airport, I asked my son to show me the alterna again. We were on 90 between Valentine and Lobo when I was holding the snake in one hand while I steered with the other...I then witnessed a very dramatic example of projectile cloacal evacuation as the alterna dumped right there on my lap what remained of various lacertilian species and rodents that had "passed their way" through the alterna's system. I let out a loud groan of disgust and quickly rebagged the stinker, never again to view it while driving...
