I'd like to build an outdoor juvenile cage for my little boy and I need some ideas or pics. It is getting to the warmer months and I 'd like him to get some natural sunlight.
Thnx, Mike

I suggest go big. A juvenile cage will only last you one warm season, then you'll have to enlarge it or build a new one, so why spend the extra money when you can do it once?
If you do a search on google, you will find some good ideas and pictures. There is a book, by Barlett I believe, about Terrariums, you should check it out.
Remember these:
- make it rat/cat/predator proof
- make it so that there is always some shade
- keep it bugs-free
- avoid metals that corrode
- do not make it face north
- make it as spacious as possible, this will ensure ventilation, foraging, natural behavior, and thermoregulation
- foliage and/or plants can go a long way, make sure they're safe
- make it escape proof!
